LITTLE Little COOKIES

Again, it pulled me into the kitchen, this time I found an old recipe for biscuits that alone would be worth no post, but I found this pastry perfect for decoration. Of course they are also without delicious, but I just makes decorating especially joy.

kannst natürlich auch große machen...  /  can of course also make great ...

Zutaten (diese Menge ergibt ca. 5 - 6 Bleche)

750g Mehl
200g Butter
375g Zucker
4 Eier
1 Pkt. Backpulver
1 Pck. Vanillezucker

Ingredients (makes about specifying these quantities 5-6 sheets)

750g flour
200g butter
375g sugar
4 eggs
1 pack of baking powder
1 pack vanilla sugar
1/2 teaspoon lemon peel abrasion / lemon juice is also

Melt the butter and stir until foamy with the sugar, eggs, baking powder and vanilla sugar. Now you can give the flour. In the recipe is: with the flour on the work surface forming a wreath, give the Stirred in the center and knead everything together into a dough. I did this too complicated, I have simply added to the bowl to the stirred and kneaded into a dough. Add cling wrap wrap before further processing and for about 30 - 60 minutes put in the refrigerator.

Thereafter roll out the dough and cut out with the cups. The biscuits with egg yolk Brush (or with milk or cream) and bake at 175 ° top and bottom heat in the middle of the oven for about 10 minutes. I recommend a thickness of about 1 cm, otherwise they will be dry.

The decoration I made with royal icing. This will require:

3 egg whites (egg yolk to brush use)
700g icing sugar sifted
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice

I have only 1/3 of the amount taken.

The egg white in a bowl with the mixer beat creamy, lemon juice to it and portions of the powdered sugar. Mix well, it has the right consistency when it is thick, almost like toothpaste. Color with food coloring and with a pastry bag (plastic bag works also) apply.

Nice gift, ideal for coffee or just in between...

Delicious with love
xoxo Kira
